Google has confirmed that the Stadia will release on November 19, 2019. The announcement was made by Google hardware chief, Rick Osterloh today at the Made by Google event in New York.
The Stadia Founder’s Edition costs $129 and comes with a limited-edition night blue controller, a Chromecast Ultra for 4K and HDR Streaming, and a three-month Stadia Pro subscription for you and a friend. Physical kits will be shipped in the order that they were purchased. In Europe, the Stadia Premier Edition was introduced for pre-order after the Founder Edition sold out. It comes at no additional cost too.
The difference between both editions is that the Founder's Edition has the option to reserve special usernames before launch, a Buddy Pass and the blue controller. It is currently still available in North America and Canada.
The free Stadia Base service is slated for a 2020 launch. While limited to 1080p/60fps, it will be available for more devices like Chrome browsers and Pixel 3 phones. Check out Googles video below which tells you everything you need to know about the Stadia.
