GODSENT has announced its return following the organisation's merger with The Final Tribe. The revelation was made via Twitter.
Combining their resources together, the new organisation will have teams play under the GODSENT brand. The union is aimed at becoming a world-class Swedish esports organisation, adding The Final Tribe's Dota 2, League of Legends and Hearthstone divisions to the GODSENT name.
GODSENT co-founder, Markus "pronax" Wallsten becomes the second-largest shareholder and will run the CS:GO division from the sidelines. The former in-game leader announced his retirement from competitive CS:GO in May.
The Final Tribe created a CS:GO squad when it signed the Vexed roster last May. Headlined by Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi, the organisation eventually dropped the squad earlier this month, prior to the merger. It is unclear what form the new CS:GO roster will take.
During its two-year run, GODSENT signed some of the best Swedish players with one of its biggest accolades being their win at the Europe Minor Championship - Atlanta 2017. The organisation closed its doors a week after Red Reserve acquired its roster.
