Just over two weeks ago, Dragon Ball FighterZ EVO 2019 and World Tour champion, Goichi "GO1" Kishida released a shared Season 3 tier list with fellow CYCLOPS athlete gaming player, Shoji "Fenrich" Sho.
Now with Ultra Instinct Goku out and about, the Japanese player has decided to update that tier list, adding the new fighter to the mix. Top tier receives some of the fewest changes, with Frieza and Broly falling to S tier, while Ul Goku joins in third place. This version of the Super Saiyan was well received by the FGC, impressing Go1 so much that not only is he in his top tier but also a part of his new team in the game.

Bardock and Base Vegeta remain at the top, while the other Season 3 addition, Kefla, moved to the tail end of S tier. All the characters from the unknown tier in his previous tier list have also been given proper spots. Captain Ginyu shoots up to S tier, while Android 17 and Beerus move to -S and Nappa, A tier. Unfortunately for Videl and Jiren, they sit in the lowest tier, B. However, they aren’t alone as Goku Black drops from A tier to join them.
The world champion’s new lineup consists of characters that he considers among the best in the game; Barduck, Trunks, and UI Goku. Although we won’t be seeing Go1’s team in action during the now canceled Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour 2020, we could still see him in EVO Online and whatever substitute event Bandai Namco prepares for fans.
Go1 won the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals 2019-2020 in February and most of the major DBFZ events in 2019. He’s also taken an interest in Bandai Namco’s latest fighting game, Granblue Fantasy Versus, competing in the ongoing event, RAGE GBVS 2020 Summer, but failing to make it out of the online preliminary stage.
