Astralis announced today that former in-game leader Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander will be taking a medical leave due to stress. Jakob "JUGi" Hansen joins the starting line-up as his replacement.
DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe begins today, with Astralis' match against Heroic marking JUGi's debut with the team. The Danish organization revealed in a recent blog post that it was never planned for gla1ve to compete in the tournament, as he'd been showing stress-like symptoms for some time now. Under the advice of his doctor and the absence of a better solution, gla1ve will be on leave for the next three months to rest up.

Astralis stated that their acquisition of JUGi and Patrick "es3tag" Hansen, who joins the team on July 1, was to reduce the stress on individual players, so situations like this can be avoided in the future.

For a long time, we have worked with Lukas and the team to minimize the tasks inside and outside of the game. This has helped, but unfortunately, it has not been enough for him to avoid going on leave
