GIRLGAMER Esports Festival World Finals will be held in Dubai

Since 2017, the GIRLGAMER Esports Festival has been a celebration of women in competitive gaming which leads up to the World Finals and this year it will be held in Dubai. 

Four regional qualifiers determine the players to compete in the World Finals with the Sydney Festival already concluded. The remaining three are Seoul Festival on September 6 (Asia), Madrid Festival from September 28-29 (Europe) and São Paulo Festival from October 5-6 (LATAM). 

The first event finals in 2017 was held in Macau while the second took place in Portugal (2018). This year's edition will be held in December and features other activities such as panel discussions and pro player meet-and-greets. The tournament format for the Finals has not yet been revealed.
