If you felt like missing the gifting system in Fortnite, then it’s time for you to cheer up as the system is back in action. Epic Games has enabled it once again, but only for a limited period; it is yet unknown for how long gifting would stay active.

The developers have shared the news via Twitter. Basically, this system allows you to choose any cosmetic item in the Item Shop and send it to your friend. To be able to do so, you need to have two-factor authentication enabled – but hey, are there still people who do not use this security measure in 2019? Don’t be a barbarian and turn it on everywhere you can. The gifting system has another limitation, and it’s the necessity to have a certain person in your friends list for at least 48 hours so that you can send them gifts. This particular feature prevents any abusing of the system that might’ve occurred otherwise. Moreover, you are limited to sending no more than three gifts in a single day.

It is a nice way to make your friend’s day, and all you need to do is to buy a specific item as a gift – there’s a respective option available in the Item Shop. You can’t send any of the cosmetics you already own, so that’s a small downside.
