Get ready for the reveal of Season 2 for Apex Legends at E3 2019 ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

The developers of Apex Legends from the Respawn studio have already hinted that we would learn more about Season 2 for the game at E3 2019, but now, it’s official. The plans for the next big content drop will be revealed during the annual EA Play event.

Much like the recent news regarding Anthem, the latest information about the nearest future of Apex Legends was shared during the EA’s financial report. The company claims it has big plans for the game, which shouldn’t be surprising given the explosive popularity of the title – and the inevitable loss of the momentum. Apex Legends desperately needs a steady flow of new engaging content, and the upcoming reveal of Season 2 during EA Play should shed the light on the developers’ plans to address the situation. EA’s representatives also mentioned that the new content was going to be more robust, while the in-game environment (i.e. map) would feature substantial changes. It most likely means that the next Season will alter the existing map layout – much like it’s been happening in Fortnite. The start of Season 2 is expected at the end of June.

We’d like to once again remind you that EA Play isn’t going to be held the traditional way this year. EA is not hosting a press conference; instead, the company will focus entirely on games and livestream the most exciting news regarding its newest titles with the help of the developers.
