According to a DBLTAP report, Gen.G has its sights set on TYLOO’s Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand. If successful, his signing will complete Gen.G’s CS:GO lineup.
Since making their entry into CS:GO, the global esports organization has been slowly building its roster. Last week they signed Damian “daps” Steele, Kenneth “koosta” Suen, and Timothy “autimatic” Ta from Cloud9, while yesterday they acquired Sam “s0m” Oh from Team Envy.
BnTeT is not just TYLOO’s in-game leader but also their top-fragger. He’s been playing for the team since March 2017, and if he does move, his absence will be sorely felt. BnTeT’s accolades include qualifying for three CS:GO Majors and making it to the CS:GO Asia Championships semifinals. The report states that BnTeT’s contract with TYLOO expires around the end of the year, which gives Gen.G a better opportunity to snatch him up.
Hunter “SicK” Mims filled Gen.G’s fifth spot as a stand-in during the IEM Katowice North America open qualifier, where they were eliminated in their first match by Just For Fun. Meanwhile, BnTeT will attend the WESG regional qualifiers under the TYLOO banner, which also holds this week.
