Global esports organization Gen.G has confirmed its signing of Sam "s0m" Oh. He leaves Team Envy to join the lineup.

The 17-year-old departs from Team Envy after only nine months with the organization where he competed in international events like DreamHack Masters Malmö and IEM Chicago. He also served on Test Takers squad and was a Complexity streamer (both twice) in 2018.

Gen.G has confirmed that it will be competing in the North American open qualifier for IEM Katowice 2020. Hunter "SicK" Mims will join the roster as a stand-in for the event, which takes place from December 10-13 (open qualifier #1 and #2).

This is what the current Gen.G roster looks like:

  • Timothy "autimatic" Ta

  • Damian "daps" Steele

  • Kenneth "koosta" Suen

  • Sam "s0m" Oh

  • Hunter "SicK" Mims (stand-in)

  • Chris "Elmapuddy" Tebbit (coach)

s0m joins his fellow new transfers,  daps, koosta" and autimatic. Gen.G announced their acquisition on Friday from Cloud9.
