Genesis 7 results

As EVO Japan 2020 had crowds screaming and fans fighting across multiple tournament titles this weekend, so also did Genesis 7. The event took place at Oakland, California, and had over 3,500 participants.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate had the highest number of entries, with almost 1,700 players registered. Melee followed, not so close behind, with 1,100. Both games featured Singles and Doubles tournaments and shared the last event day with Rivals of Aether. 

Besides Smash and Rivals of Aether, there were many other games at the event. These include Dance Dance Revolution Extreme, Magical Drop 3, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2, Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo, and Windjammers.
