Gen. G Esports has joined the growing list of teams ready to commit to VALORANT’s esports scene. The multi-game organization recently announced the signing of the entire French Canadian roster.
All five players come from a CS:GO background, with Anthony "gMd" Guimond, Loic "effys" Sauvageau, and Keven "PLAYER1" Champagne all former members of the original CS:GO orgless team by the same name. Effys joined LiViD Gaming in August 2019, where he played beside and coached Danny "huynh" Huynh, and Michael "MkaeL" De Luca.

In April 2020, gMd, effys, PLAYER1, huynh, and Mkael formed a VALORANT team using the French Canadian name once more. Together they’ve attended and had favorable results at a few VALORANT tournaments, their best being a first-place finish at Nerd Street Gamers - Open #2, and the just-concluded T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Invitational.

The entire Gen. G Esports VALORANT roster consists of:
-
Keven "PLAYER1" Champagne
-
Danny "huynh" Huynh
-
Michael "MkaeL" De Luca
-
Anthony "gMd" Guimond
-
Loic "effys" Sauvageau
Gen. G Esports’ debut tournament showed how dominant a team they are. Through T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Invitational, they lost only one game, and that was in the Grand Finals against Team Brax. Ending the match 2-1, they walked away with the $20,000 prize.
