Geek Fam has announced the addition of Carlo "Kuku" Palad, Eric "Ryoya" Dong and Kim "DuBu" Doo-Young to its Dota 2 roster. They join Marc Polo Luis "Raven" Fausto and Kenny "Xepher" Deo for the Dota Pro Circuit 2019-2020 season.
The trio replaces Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung who left for Keen Gaming and Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang with Kim "Velo" Tae-sung who both joined Alpha x Hashtag. The former captain Mushi and NothingToSay were the last Malaysian players on the team.
DuBu is a Korean player who used to be Fnatic's coach and also stepped in for the team as position 5 just before TI9. He becomes captain of the Geek Fam roster.
KuKu is reunited with former TNC Predator teammate, Raven. He announced his desire to leave TNC shortly after TI9 but only departed a few days ago. He takes on the offlane role.
Ryoya has played for quite a number of North American teams and now makes his debut in the Southeast Asia region. He left beastcoast to join Geek Fam and will play the midlane role.
With a promising new roster locked in, Geek Fam prepares for the start of DPC 2019-2020.
