Geek Fam and Invictus Gaming will represent Asia at DOTA Summit 11

Invictus Gaming and Geek Fam have qualified for DOTA Summit 11 in their respective regions. Invictus for China and Geek Fam for Southeast Asia. 

Invictus beat Newbee 2-0 in Upper Bracket Round 1 and CDEC Gaming 2-1 in the Upper Bracket Finals. CDEC proceeded to defeat Newbee 2-0 as well in the Lower Bracket Finals to earn a rematch with Invictus. 

After losing the first game, CDEC made a strong comeback that won them the next two games. They failed to secure that final game though as Invictus caught up to them in the next game and secured the final win in the fifth. 

In the SEA Qualifiers, Geek Fam dominated both its opponents in the Upper Bracket, 2-0. Team Jinesbrus lost to Cignal Ultra in Lower Bracket Round 1, while BOOM Esports lost, 2-0 to Cignal Ultra which was the reverse of their first matchup. 

Meeting Geek Fam in the Grand Final, Cignal Ultra conceded the first game but took the second. The next two games both ended in Geek Fam's favour, securing their qualification spot. 

DOTA Summit 11 will be held from November 7-10 with 8 teams competing for the $300,000 prize pool.
