Gears Tactics’ world premiere set for The Game Awards

Gears Tactics returns to the spotlight. Information regarding its development revealed via Twitter that the game would make an appearance at The Game Awards on December 12. 

Very little has been shared about the upcoming game since last year. The game was barely present at E3 this year, but the world premiere proves that Microsoft has not abandoned it. 

Microsoft and The Coalition have put most of their focus these past few years on Gears 5. With the game out and in the wild, it appears Microsoft has shifted its attention to Gears Tactics. The game will be released on PC first and then ported to Xbox One at a later date.

The Game Awards 2019 will take place at the Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, on December 12. Tickets are already on sale. Gears 5, the latest mainstream game in the franchise, was released on September 6.
