Gamescom 2018 is coming back to Cologne, Germany. August 21 to 25, the top studios and publishers will attend the gaming conference to showcase the best things they got for us this year. Want to know what they’ll show and when you will able to see it – check out our schedule!
August 20, 19:00: GeForce Gaming Celebration
As a part of their presentation, Nvidia will show video cards of the new generation, including Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080. The live stream will be at the official Twitch channel, which is already working, by the way. It’s showing the timer counting down to the start of the presentation. In addition to that, Nvidia plans to tell us about new PC games and exclusive content for them.
August 21, 11:00: Gamescom 2018 Opening Ceremony
During the opening ceremony Ubisoft, THQ Nordic, Koch Media (Deep Silver) and Bandai Namco promise to make a few announcements. Apparently, the attendees can play them right there on the conference. As a cherry on top, we’ll see new trailer for “Life is Strange 2” at the opening ceremony as well.
August 21, 17:30: Inside Xbox
It is known that Microsoft will bring 25 games to the conference, among them are “Forza Horizon 4” and “Ori and the Will of the Wisps”. There are some rumors though that the company will also present the second generation of Xbox One Elite Controller.
August 22, 12:30: Blizzard Presentation
Blizzard already specified what games they’re bringing to the con. Viewers and attendants of Gamescom 2018 will see new announcements for Overwatch (new animated short), World of Warcraft (we will finally see “Warbringers: Azshara”), StarCraft (hello Tychus Findlay), Heroes of the Storm (it’s m*********ing MEPHISTO!) and Diablo (Switch). That’s just a short list of things we will witness there.
