An international gaming exhibition Gamescom has opened today in Cologne.

Having come to replace the Games Convention exhibition, which was taking place in Leipzig from 2002 to 2008 inclusively, Gamescom for the sixth time in a row gathers a huge audience including both the professionals of the gaming world and the ordinary gamers. In fact, the event has started even before its official opening date. Yesterday, in so-called "zero-day", such giants of the game business as Sony and Microsoft held their press conferences. Today Electronic Arts begins its communication with the visitors of exhibition.

This grandiose event promises to please gamers with announcements of new games, as well as demonstration of new products which are still under development now. In particular, Microsoft will show gameplay of Quantum Break, and also will share details about such games as Forza Horizon 2 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Sony will boast with its PS4-exclusives: Bloodborne, Until Dawn and The Order: 1886.
By the way, the list of games released for PlayStation 4, will be replenished with a zombie shooter DayZ. This information was officially announced by Dean Hall, the designer of the game.

Electronic Arts is going to feature in the exhibition such of its creations as: FIFA 15, The Sims 4, Dragon Age: Inqusition, Battlefield Hardline and Dawngate. French Ubisoft will offer gamers to try out such new games as: Assassin's Creed Rogue, Just Dance 2015, Tom Clancy's The Division, The Settlers: Kingdom of Anteria, Far Cry 4 and The Crew.

Besides this, a series of tournaments on CoD: Advanced Warfare, Battlefield 4, FIFA and some other games will be held within the exhibition.
