Gamers with Disabilities Eager to Fight

Upcoming autumn the gaming World Championship for disabled people will be held in South Korea.

Organizing of e-sports tournaments for people with disabilities requires a half times more labor and money expenses than organization of competitions for usual gamers. That’s why such kind of events is carried out not so often. But as the saying is, people kind and fair are everywhere. Korean enthusiasts have created a special organization – e-Sports Association for the Disabled, and together with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Republic of Korea they are going to hold e-sports World Championship for disabled people. It will be held from 8th to 12th of October at Seungshin Women's University.

League of Legends, StarCraft II and FIFA Online 3 are among the announced disciplines. More than two hundred gamers from twelve countries, including the United States, South Africa, Germany and, of course, South Korea will compete in matches on these popular games.

By the way, many e-sports fans were so much imbued with the idea of holding such kind of tournament, that they were even ready to pretend to be people with disabilities, just to take part in competitions. They write in numerous comments to corresponding news: "Well, is fanatical passion for computer games not a serious illness? Yeah, I’m a real cripple! Let me participate in this champ!" The true gamer will do everything to have a possibility to fight with the other one of his/her kind in the international arena.
