Game Show will bring Europe, America, and the CIS region together in their newest CS:GO project called the Global eSports Cup, which will feature a prize pool of $200,000 USD, the organization announced on Wednesday.
For each respective region (Europe, America and CIS), eight teams will receive direct invites while eight other teams will qualify through open qualifiers to be held from Nov. 14 - 15.
The European division will consist of a two stages. The first stage will have sixteen teams fight it out in a four group, double elimination bracket and the top two teams from each group will advance to the second stage where they will face another set of eight invited teams which will include the most recent Valve sponsored Major winner, Team EnVyUs.
The American and CIS regions will only have one group stage.
Once the group stages have come to a close, the top four teams representing the European division and the top two from America and CIS will meet at Vilnius, Lithuania for the $200,000 LAN finals.
The prize pool for the GameShow Global eSports Cup excludes travel and accommodations which makes it one of the first tournaments to meet all the requirements outlined by the Team Union.
