Gambit Esports are the winners of WePlay! Winter Madness

Congratulations to Gambit Esports who started 2019 with a sweet victory. The winners of Winter Madness showed how strong CIS Dota is right now and became $50.000 richer in the process.

We are very pleased about Gambit’s victory because they are one of the teams who broke a sweat playing the round-robin group stage and wasn’t afraid to show signature strategies. Throughout the final day, they were using very stable strategies and achieved consistent results (5:0 score overall) which proves that the result wasn’t a fluke.

We wish Gambit Esports the best of luck in the new year and will be rooting for the team in the upcoming Minor. Winter Madness isn’t a part of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit, but we believe that such a good performance will work as a confidence boost and help the team to pave their way to TI 2019.
