It seems that 2019 will be remembered for the return of former CIS esports glory. Gambit Esports, the multigaming organisation, has signed a new youth squad for CS:GO.
The team's coach is Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov — he's so deep veteran of Counter-Strike that he managed to shine since the time of 1.6. He also once played for the Virtus.pro and ForZe teams. Together with Gambit's sports director Konstantin "groove" Pikiner, Ivan selected players for the new team. Andrei "B1ad3" Gorodensky, who is known for bringing many of the famous players from the CIS to the professional CS scene, helped them finding great prospects.
Almost all new team's members were free agents, with the exception of 17-year-old Anton "supra" Chernobay, who had previously been on a contract with Vega Squadron and was bought out by Gambits.
At the moment, the Gambit Youngsters looks like this:
Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov
Anton "supra" Chernobay
Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov
Timofey "interz" Yakushin
Daniil "Porya" Poryadin
