European esports organization G2 Esports has its sights firmly fixed on Riot Games’ upcoming tactical shooter VALORANT.
In an interview with Sky Sports, G2 Esports founder, and owner, Carlos “ocelote” Rodríguez Santiago shared the organization’s plans for VALORANT.
G2 will be Valorant World Champion at some point. At the same time, we'll be doing a lot of content and tournaments around Valorant. Expect a lot from us; it's going to become one of the main games for us.
VALORANT has made an impression on ocelote, as he calls the game perfect from both a design and gameplay perspective. He sees a lot of VALORANT in their future, with content creation playing a significant role alongside tournaments. They’re already off to a great start with today’s best-of-three match between Team Lothar and Team Orb. They even have a VALORANT playlist on YouTube.

Fueled by excitement, a love of the game, their dream of success, and the resources to back it, G2 Esports is poised to become a VALORANT powerhouse.
As Riot Games prepare for VALORANT’s launch and lay the foundation for its competitive scene, organizations like G2 Esports will continue to host their tournaments and create content in anticipation of the big launch.
