A representative of the West wins the MSI Series tournament for the first time. Even more noteworthy is that there was not a single representative of LCK and LPL in the finals - teams from Korea and China simultaneously stopped at the semifinal stage.
Rasmus "Caps" Winter became the most valuable player of the tournament. He was able to make a penta-kill in the semifinal against the formidable SK Telecom T1 and led his team with his inspirational play during the whole tournament.
The European team won a major international tournament from Riot Games for the first time since 2011: then Fnatic won the first ever League of Legends World Championship. The difference between West and East is officially reduced. This year the World Cup will be extremely interesting in terms of esports battles.
Congratulations to the winner - G2 Esports and MVP of the LoL MSI 2019 - Rasmus "Caps" Winter! They did a great job, and we're waiting for more exciting games and tournaments.
