FURIA Esports and Nike sign multiyear deal ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Nike just did it, they have signed a partnership deal with their first esports team and all rosters across FURIA Esports will be benefiting from this. This marks Nike’s second esports deal, the first being with the Chinese League of Legends League (LPL) , in which it is the official apparel provider

FURIA made the announcement over on its blog and also shared a video on Twitter. The short clip feels more like an advert pushing for the legitimacy of esports, but it gets the job done. It displays gameplay from a number of games, emphasising that the deal will not be specific to just one of the team's rosters. In the blog it is also stated that the deal “will occur over the next few years.

“With Nike’s support, we’ll go on with our job of making dreams come true and forming great athletes by hard work, talent and persistence. We’ve succeeded in CS:GO with this formula and we hope to reapply it to other modalities.”, said Jaime Pádua F. Filho, FURIA Esports’ CEO

The org has had particular success in CS:GO and hopes to do the same in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Dota 2. FURIA will also be unveiling its new Jersey during their match against NRG at ESL One Cologne today.
