Frostbite 2020 results

Frostbite 2020 returned this weekend as the fifth installment of the annual event. This year’s edition has five main tournaments; Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 1v1 Singles, 2v2 Doubles, Squad Strike, Rivals of Aether 1v1 Singles, and 2v2 Doubles. 

The convention-style event is one of the few events to partner with Nintendo this year. It's attracted some of the best Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players including Leonardo “MkLeo” Lopez Perez, Tyler "Marss" Martins, Paris "Light" Ramirez, Nairoby "Nairo" Quezada, Enrique "Maister" Hernández Solís, Takuto "Kameme" Ono, Sota "Zackray" Okada, Gavin "Tweek" Dempsey, and Ezra “Samsora” Morris. 

This year Super Smash Bros. Ultimate received 1,280 participants for the Singles event and 500 in the Doubles. Rivals of Aether received 109 entrants in the Singles event and 16 teams in the doubles.
