Borderlands 3 is the most talked about game right now. It would be fair to point out that some problems occurred before we found out that it was going to Epic Games Store instead of Steam.

If you followed to the game presentation on PAX, you were bored and mildly infuriated by the fact that Gearbox and 2K took their sweet time announcing several titles unrelated to Borderlands and also devoted about 20 minutes to a board game and magic card tricks performed by Randy Pitchford (really, what the heck was that?). When it finally came down to Borderlands 3, the presentation went haywire because the laptop hooked to the projector couldn’t handle video output.

Once PAX technicians managed to show the trailer, the Gearbox/2k crew rounded up the presentation without mentioning that Borderlands 3 was coming to PC as an Epic Games exclusive.

Once the news about the 2K and Epic Games deal broke out, many players grew unhappy.

And the memes immediately followed.
