WeSave! Charity Play starts in two days, and the team pool is almost completed. We've already announced current (and back-to-back) Aegis holders OG, with Furia, NAVI, and CR4ZY joining the rest of the teams right after it.
So, there are four more participants incoming:
- EG (Europe)
- Cloud9 (North America)
- Vici Gaming and PSG.LGD (both from China)
We are thrilled to be invited to such a great event. In times like these, it's important that we keep our chins up and work together. Not only to keep everyone safe and look after each other but to bring each other comfort and some great Dota to be entertained!
Thus, we only are waiting for two teams to complete the set-up.
The initiative from organizations around the world to take part in a charity marathon proves that at the right time, Dota 2 community is able to rally and oppose a common enemy. No one is left behind, which means our contribution will turn out to be as effective as possible!
WeSave! Charity Play online marathon will be held from March 20 to 26. 24 teams from six regions will battle each other inside their regions. The prize pool is set to $120,000 — all of them will go to specific organizations fighting COVID-19. We will name the fund that aids efforts to battle COVID-19 and share the detailed algorithm of the collection and transfer of funds as soon as possible. Currently, we are straightening out some of the legal details with our partners in this venture.
OG, Furia, NAVI, Team Secret, Team Nigma, Virtus.pro, IG, TNC Predator, beastcoast and more are among the participants. Stay tuned and follow our special tag!
