Fortnite world champion Kyle "Bugha" Giersdorf got swatted during the stream.

Swatting is a "criminal harassment tactic of deceiving an emergency service (via such means as hoaxing an emergency services dispatcher) into sending a police and emergency service response team to another person's address." Bugha came under such a harassment.

Giersdorf played Fortnite Trios on the stream with Timothy "Bizzle" Miller and Danny "Dubs" Walsh when his father walked into his room and informed the situation. The teammates won the match without Bugha, and tried to find out what was happened. The chat told them that before leaving his room, he said "I got SWATted?".

After 10 minutes, Bugha returned and said that the situation was resolved peacefully, as one of the police officers recognized him. Nevertheless, he was very scared - the special forces burst into his house with weapons.

It isn't known yet who made this false call, and what was the purpose.
