Fortnite Season 8 is going to be about pirates

Fortnite Season 8 is just around the corner, and the developers from Epic Games started their traditional series of hints and teasers to make sure that players stay engaged. Well, all those players who are left after most of them ran away for Apex Legends. And it turns out that the upcoming Season 8 is going to be pirate-themed.

Yesterday Epic left in Twitter a little poem, which obviously hints at the pirate theme with ‘X’ marking the spot where you can find the treasure. The teaser image displays a well recognizable pirate hook, and you bet it’s going to be a new cosmetic. Season 8 will be most likely dedicated to a treasure hunt of sorts, and we sincerely hope there will be a place for an actual pirate ship. It sounds like players will compete to find the booty, which will apparently contain powerful goodies for players to win the match.
