Fortnite Open Water challenges: Chapter 2 season 1 mission list and guide

Introduction

After all the drama that happened last week and the rumours that Fortnite will no longer exist, we finally have Fortnire Chapter 2.  As you can imagine, the new "version" will be surprising because it has tons of new features.

One of the new things is also a new battle pass that has a lot of missions you can complete. Each week has different tasks to do, and the ones for this week are mostly focused on doing map exploration. This was expected because there are a lot of map changes.

The cool things are that Open Water missions are pretty easy to do, which means that everyone will be able to complete them. 

Let's take a look at them now.

Hideout hiding in different games

The hideouts in Fortnite are among the new features which seem to be very interesting. As the name suggests, these are a particular type of places where you can hide from your enemies. 

This is one of the most straightforward missions here because you need to find these hideouts and get inside. 

Do damage right after you leave the hideout

The next hideout mission is related to you doing damage once you leave it. To complete this challenge, you need to do this within ten seconds. This means that you have got to wait for the right moment whenever someone is passing by.

Landing at different locations

In order to have a better idea of the new map, you need to explore it properly. That's why one of the missions for this week is to land in four specific locations - Salty Springs, Dirty Docks and Craggy Cliffs. All of them are really interesting, so be sure to look around a little bit before you dive into the fight. After all, the purpose of this mission is to get a general idea of your surroundings.

Surviving the storm phase

As the name suggests, you need to survive the storm. The easiest way of doing is by staying somewhere near the middle. However, it's a lot more dangerous there, so you need to be careful.

Kill someone from a distance

The exceptional/trick shots have always been very fresh. Now, if you manage to kill someone from 50 meters or more, you will be able to complete this mission.

Searching for chests

Once you land in Craggy Cliffs and the Misty Meadows, just look for as many breasts as possible. However, keep it in mind that there will be a lot of people doing this challenge, so you might have to wait a bit before you can complete it.

Starting crouching when you are near an enemy

This might seem to be kind of tricky because you need to be within 20m of someone to complete it. Just be sure to be in a big building, and it will work.

Kill someone with a sniper

Snipers are among the most popular weapons in every game, and Fortnite is no exception. As the name of this mission suggests, you have one job to do - kill someone with a sniper whenever you get your hands on one.

Damage your enemies using a pistol

It seems like the most natural way of doing this challenge is when you do a "Team Rumble" because there will be a lot of players running pass you. Just be careful not to get shot yourself because it will be wild.
