Fortnite: Leaked Week 6 Challenges and New Heavy Sniper Rifle ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Ok, I know, I know. We’ve been talking about the sniper rifle for a long time. But considering that next week of Season 5 is coming soon, I thought it’s a good time to remind everybody the meta is going to change a bit (as you’re going to get shot from another side of the map). Plus, the new Week 6 challenges got leaked as well. But first things first!

Epic Games were hinting about the heavy sniper rifle for 3 weeks already and confirmed its arrival today. If you go to Fortnite in-game menu right now, you’ll see the Heavy Sniper Rifle tease and it will come out in two versions: legendary and epic.

Apparently, the rifle has no problems penetrating all kinds of surface, would it be wood, metal, brick or your enemy’s head. The stats of the weapon according to dotesports:

“The Legendary variant of this sniper has a 51.8 DPS rating and 157 Damage statistic, according to the gameplay video. A Legendary Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle, on the other hand, has a 38.28 DPS rating and 116 Damage statistic. ”

You can also check this Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks tweet to see the rifle in action.

Now, as far as the Week 6 Challenges are concerned. If you’re the same you-gotta-do-all-things maniac as I am, you will probably want to take care of all tasks in your Battle Pass. They’re usually pretty simple and require a few matches to complete all of them (if you’re lucky enough with the loot/landing):

  • Deal 500 Headshot Damage to opponents

  • Harvest 3,000 building resources with a pickaxe

  • Search where the Stone Heads are looking

  • Search 7 chests in Lonely Lodge

  • Complete 5 timed trials

  • Get 2 Minigun or Light Machine Gun eliminations

  • Eliminate 3 opponents in Tilted Towers

The one confusing me the most right now is the Stone Heads challenge. Although, there are some stone heads scattered at Salty Springs, so it’s most likely related to them.

Anyway, Week 6 seems to be very straightforward so players will be able to unlock all skins they want after completing the Battle Pass. I think we’ll make a separate detailed guide for Week 6 challenges that would help in that endeavour.

For now on, enjoy the rest of Week 5 and keep pwning!
