Fortnite and controllers diversity

Console brothers and sisters, in a recent Fortnite devblog it was stated that those who are playing using mice and keyboards will no longer be a threat to console gaming. The new system will provide more accurate matchmaking and will separate one kind of players from another. Those using keyboard-and-mouse configuration will matchup only with other PC-like gamers. However, nothing was mentioned about PC gamers using controllers(I know a guy whose feelings are offended).

So, We have time until the end of this year to choose the best device and get used to it.
