Can you hear it? Sounds like the departure signal. The train roars and a new season of Forge of Masters. WePlay! League is on the rails!
We are staying true to the mission, set for the initial season of Forge of Masters. WePlay! League — bringing up a new generation of players and helping those who need experience and exposure.
The WePlay! team and the players set off along the main CS:GO story route. Our way lies through cities where the major tournaments of recent years took place. The final destination is Kyiv. A new WePlay! Esports arena is coming along with a spectacular and unforgettable show — everything you’ve asked for.
Our League has expanded and became even more exciting. This season, the European region teams will be joining the fray.
We are happy to announce that we took the community feedback into account and the season will have Open Qualifiers. Are you ready to break into the race for $100,000 and the Championship Cup?
Forge of Masters. WePlay! League Autumn 2019 Format
Open Qualifiers
Everybody has a chance to prove their skill. There will be two Qualifiers for Europe and CIS respectively. Each will be held in Single Elimination format. The participants will play bo1 matches up to the round of 32. From to the round of 32 and up to the finals the format changes to bo3.
Dates:
European Open Qualifier #1: September 14 - 15
CIS Open Qualifier #1: September 14 - 15
European Open Qualifier #2: September 21 - 22
CIS Open Qualifier #2: September 21 - 22
The qualifier winners will participate in Forge of Masters. WePlay! League and join the online stage.
Online Phase
Ten invited teams from CIS and Europe will join the four teams from the Open Qualifiers.
First stage
Dates: October 1 - 13
The first stage will be held in the GSL group format with a total of thirty bo3 matches.
The teams will be divided into three groups (per each region).
The group winners (3 from each region) are invited to LAN-finals;
Second-place finishers go to the third stage of the online stage;
Third-place finishers get another chance to show their skill in the second stage;
Teams that take 4th place in their groups are eliminated from the tournament.
Second Stage
Dates: October 19 - 20
The second online stage will start with a Single Elimination bracket. Three stronger teams out of the six proceed to play a Round Robin group. Two winning teams go further.
Third Stage
Dates: November 1 - 3
Eight participants will play in a single-elimination bracket. Top two teams will go to the LAN-finals, the rest leave the tournament.
LAN-finals
Dates: November 15 - 17
This will be the finish line for those who selflessly fought for the right to prove their superiority. Two stages await the participants.
Group Stage
All participants are divided into two GSL groups to play bo1 or bo3 matches.
Playoffs
Two strongest teams from each group advance to the Playoffs to compete for the main prize.
Prize pool
The total prize pool of the tournament is $100.000. This time the participants will have even more motivation to demonstrate their excellence in Counter-Strike!
Prize pool distribution:
1st place: $50,000
2nd place: $20,000
3rd-4th place: $10,000
5th-6th place: $3,000
7th-8th place: $2,000
