Forge of Masters 2019 Season 1 comes to a glorious end

The Final day of Forge of Masters. WePlay! League has come to an end. We found out the name of the champion - the team that set the level for all the other teams from the CIS (except one yellow-black five, of course). It is time to remember how it all happened.

AVANGAR got to know its Grand Final rival from the HellRaisers - Vega Squadron match. Unfortunately, there was no severe battle in this match. Vega Squadron failed it, but the ISSAA - oskar duet was scorching. 1.45 and 1.42 - this is the rating of players from Jordan and the Czech Republic, respectively, and they played with a statistics of +38 (91 kills with 53 deaths) in total.

Vega Squadron's coach Artem Ivanov shared his view on defeat: 

“Today we allowed to do too many entry-frags on us, played poorly after the exchange, lost a lot of clutches. Overall, our game plan didn’t work. ”

As a result, the opposition of HellRaisers and AVANGAR awaited us again. It is probably true that the two best teams of the tournament met in the Grand Final.

Everyone was waiting for a tense final, but it didn’t work. The equal fight lasted only the first half on Dust 2, which ended with the score 8:7. AVANGAR offensively replayed his opponent over and over again, leaving HellRaisers only three rounds. Jame led the chasing for HellRaisers’ scalps: he made 22 kills with 11 deaths. Fitch supported his teammate, inflicting an average of 96.2 damage on opponents per round.

At the beginning of the Mirage map, one could get the impression that we would see the third map: HellRaisers took six rounds in a row, and nothing nothing foretold troubles ... However, AVANGAR produced an impressive series of twelve (!) rounds made in a row. Jame shone again: he killed everything that moves. Fitch and the rest of the Kazakhstan club shooters didn’t lag behind. ANGE1 and his team could not recover from such a blow. When AVANGAR players raised a cup over their head, the server showed 16:8 score in their favour.
