For Honor’s Warden is the final Samurai Shodown Season 2 DLC character

Yesterday SNK teased today’s Samurai Shodown reveal with a silhouette which had several fans guessing who the final Season 2 DLC character would be. While some guessed it would be some sort of knight, few figured out it would be a For Honor character.

The Warden will be Samurai Shodown’s 25th character, who is the first crossover character to grace the game. Wielding a mighty long sword, Warden takes some of his moves directly from For Honor, like his Shoulder Bash. His Super calls forth a ball of flames shot from a catapult and makes the perfect backdrop for the battle between Chivalry and Bushido.

Samurai Shodown is just a few days away from the anniversary of its console launch on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. This date coincides with the arrival of Warden, who is slated to arrive tomorrow, June 24.
