Today marks the end of Beyond The Summit Pro Series Southeast Asia, with Fnatic emerging as the victors after decimating TNC Predator in the Grand Finals.

Fnatic faced TNC Predator three times during the tournament, and though the results were always the same, Fnatic just kept on perfecting their offense each time. Their first match was during the Group Stage and ended with a 2:1 scoreline. The second was in the Upper Bracket Finals of the Playoffs, with TNC Predator high on their 2:0 win against Team Adroit. They fought long and hard, but Fnatic bested them in both games.

Dropping to the Lower Bracket Finals, TNC Predator proceeded to beat Geek Fam 2:0 after a 45-minute long first game and a 30-minute second. Earning their place in the Grand Finals, TNC Predator tried one more time to beat their nemesis, Fnatic.

Third time's a charm, but in TNC Predator's case, not so much. The first game lasted just around 20 minutes, which caught everyone by surprise. That defeat lit a fire under TNC Predator that resulted in a longer second game, but the result was the same. The Philippines team was on the ropes, and though they tried, nothing went unanswered as Fnatic had them completely figured out. The match ended with a 3:0 score.

TNC Predator was on a rampage last year, winning ESL One Hamburg and MDL Chengdu Major. However, they haven't been as fortunate this year. Fnatic, on the other hand, won their last two tournaments as well as this one; ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Southeast Asia and DOTA Summit 12. Just like BTS Pro Series Southeast Asia, those wins were clean sweeps.

With the coronavirus pandemic still keeping the world's population indoors and engaging in social distancing, the only Dota 2 action we'll be seeing is online regional events. As things stand, Fnatic could dominate Southeast Asia for a while longer.

Fnatic took home $21,000, almost half the total prize pool of $50,000. TNC Predator won $11,000, while Geek Fam received $6,500.
