The best and the third best teams in the world according to our recently updated rankings met on a best-of-one match to start the first day in Poland. Both of the teams will have four other matches today and their goal will be to end up in the first place to directly advance to the semi-finals.

fnatic elected to start on the CT-side and Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer's triple-kill earned his team the pistol round. Losing three players on the anti-eco had an impact on fnatic's economy. In the first weapon round, Natus Vincere's B-push was not successful as they were behind 0-4.

The CIS team had the opportunity to pick up the sixth round but they ran out of time. Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev & co secured the eighth one couldn't get it rolling, losing the following two rounds.Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko's quad kill brought the score to 2-9 and forced the Swedes into an eco. Natus Vincere salvaged it relatively well and finished 6-9 behind in a half where they trailed as much as eight rounds.

Teslenko secured the second half's pistol round with another quad-kill they went on to tie it at 9-9. After giving up the fourth round,Natus Vincere opted to go for a double-AWP setup but couldn't stop the Swedes once again. Dennis "dennis" Edman's team closed it out 16-10.

Natus Vincere's next match will be against

Luminosity, so will befnatic's. In the other match of the group
NiP lost to
mousesports on de_mirage.
