Swedish esports organization Fnatic has risen to the top of the HLTV World Rankings, dethroning Natus Vincere, and sending them to second-place.

Fnatic snatched the #1 position following their first-place finish at ESL Pro League Season 11 in which mousesports came second, Astralis third and Natus Vincere fourth. Fnatic’s first time at the top was when the global ranking launched in October 2015. They lost the spot three weeks later to a Team Solomid roster that is almost identical to current day Astralis. Fnatic returned to the top later that year and held the position for four months before Natus Vincere knocked them down. This rank up will mark Fnatic’s third time in the coveted position.

In third-place, this is the worst ranking Astralis has received since September 2019. Before Natus Vincere’s rise in the week of March 9, Astralis had dominated the top rank. The current fourth-best team in the World Ranking is mousesports, followed by Team Liquid in fifth place.

Here's a look at the top 10 CS:GO teams for the week of April 27, 2020:

  1. Fnatic
  2. Natus Vincere
  3. Astralis
  4. mousesports
  5. Team Liquid
  6. G2 Esports
  7. Evil Geniuses
  8. FaZe Clan
  9. Team Vitality
  10. 100 Thieves

The World Ranking should see some more shakeups after the conclusion of ESL One: Road to Rio - Europe and North America. Until then, Fnatic can sit comfortably.
