EPICENTER has announced that Fnatic will be the fifth and final invite to its upcoming tournament via Twitter.

Five teams are invited alongside the winners of the European, CIS and Chinese closed qualifiers, making a total of eight teams. Last weekend, Fnatic came close to adding the StarSeries i-League Season 8 trophy to its collection but lost to Evil Geniuses in the Grand Final. Come Monday; they will face BIG in the ECS Season 8 Europe Quarterfinals.

All three regional qualifiers are yet to begin, but with the main event holding in December, there’s still time to secure representatives. The current list of teams attending EPICENTER 2019 is:

  • Fnatic

  • Evil Geniuses

  • Natus Vincere

  • Team Vitality

  • Chinese qualifier

  • CIS qualifier

  • EU qualifier

EPICENTER 2019 takes place at the Crocus Hall Expo in Moscow, Russia, from December 17-22. All eight teams will compete for a $500,000 prize pool. The Group Stage and Playoff format are presently undisclosed.
