The last few weeks were really hard for the legendary Swedish lineup. After they failed to achieve status of Legends (for the first time) at last Major in London, one of the key members of the squad, Robin “flusha” Ronnquist, stepped out of the current roster and found a new home in American organization Cloud9. However, it was not the only change fnatic made. Young sniper William “draken” Sundin was benched, after disappointing results he showed, and was replaced by Simon “twist” Eliasson.

But Counter-Strike is a game for 5 players so JW and co. needed to find last member of their squad, someone new and fresh. And it seems they finally did it. 16-year old Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin from the rival team Red Reserve got an offer to be the last piece of the puzzle.

Young Swede made his first debut in competitive scene participating in a popular eSports show Gamerz where he was part of the team that finished second, which puts lots of eyes on him. Ludvig signed his first professional contract in GODSENT while he was just 15 years old.

He is no stranger to fnatic, having played for the team at last year's WESG EU & CIS Regional Finals as a replacement for Freddy “Krimz” Johansson.

According to VPEsports.com, Red Reserve are playing hardball in negotiations, but a deal is believed to be close at hand. The transfer would leave fnatic with the following line-up:

  • Jesper "JW" Wecksell
  • Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson
  • Richard "Xizt" Landström
  • Simon "twist" Eliasson
  • Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin
  • William "draken" Sundin (benched)
