Yesterday Fnatic succeeded in winning ESL One Birmingham Online: Southeast Asia after beating BOOM Esports 3-1 in the Grand Finals.
Fnatic's rise to the top wasn't an easy one as they lost two of their five matches during the Group Stage. They only managed to secure second place due to their aggregate score of 8. Losing their first match against BOOM Esports in the Group Stage, Fnatic pulled a reversal in Winners Round 1, taking the match 2-0.

BOOM Esports defeated Geek Fam in Losers Round 2 to secure their spot in the Grand Finals and another rematch against Fnatic. However, their efforts only got them a win in the second game, leaving victory in the hands of Fnatic.
