Power League Gaming Grand Slam is a 16-team tournament slated to take place in Abu Dhabi, the UAE on December 12-16, with eight teams receiving invites and eight making their way to the offline event through qualifiers.
After G2 and HellRaisers had been already invited by the organizers, Fnatic has received the invite just now and will be another professional team who will compete in the United Arab Emirates. First non-invited team who had to make it through the qualifier was Brazilian team Sharks, when Renato “nak” Nakano and co. won the South American Qualifier.
The Swedish five recently added young and explosive duo Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin and Simon “twist” Eliasson to their line-up. So they will try to climb back to the top, given they have recently fallen out from Top-20 teams in worldwide ranking. First chance to do so will be IEM Chicago in November and PLG Grand Slam in December.
