Fnatic and TNC Predator qualify for MDL Chengdu Major

The MDL Chengdu Major SEA Closed Qualifier has come to an end, with both Fnatic and TNC Predator taking the 1st-2nd position. Their victory secures spots for them at the MDL Chengdu Major as SEA seeds.

Following a long Group Stage, which resulted in two 4th-5th place tiebreakers, Fnatic, Cignal Ultra, TNC Predator, and Team Adroit all made it into the Playoffs. Featuring two double-elimination brackets, the teams faced off in best-of-3 matches. Fnatic emerged victorious against Cignal Ultra with a 2-0 score, while TNC Predator defeated Team Adroit 2-1 to win their seed. In the 3rd place match between Cignal Ultra and Team Adroit, the latter beat their opponents, 2-0. 

As a result of their loss, Cignal Ultra is the first seed to DOTA Summit 11 SEA Qualifiers. Team Jinesbrus and Geek Fam are tied in 5th-6th place for the second seed, while Boom Esports secured the third seed to the Minors after defeating Reality Rift in the Minor Qualifier Decider.

MDL Chengdu Major will take place from November 16-24, featuring 16 teams all fighting for a piece of the $980,000 prize pool. DOTA Summit 11 SEA Qualifier will take place from October 9-10.
