According to an HLTV report, Flashpoint is currently in search of a replacement for the former Heroic roster that played under the FunPlus Phoenix flag in Phase 1.

The Chinese organization FunPlus Phoenix made its entry into competitive CS:GO when it secured Heroic's roster for Flashpoint Season 1. However, a sudden move by Astralis to acquire Patrick "es3tag" Hansen to form its 6-man team on July 1 disrupted the deal. This turn of events leaves Flashpoint down by one team.

With Phase 2 scheduled to begin tomorrow, March 27, Flashpoint will need to find a quick replacement to complete the tournament lineup of 12 teams. However, a Flashpoint representative told HLTV that a replacement would be found before today's group selection show.

FunPlus Phoenix had a hard time during Phase 1 in which they finished with only 15 points after losing to Cloud9 in their first match and forfeiting their match against Orgless
