Five DPC Week 3 Major Matches

The third week of the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 winter league is all about being unstable. While some regions will delight us with a bunch of interesting matches, others just seem to have calms before the storm. Here we are again, continuing to select the five most interesting matches and traditionally listing them in chronological order. By the way, for the first time, the matches we selected will be held on different days without a single intersection.

Vici Gaming (2-0) — Invictus Gaming (2-0)

When: Feb 2, 12:00 CET

The list is opened with a deadly confrontation happening in the Celestial. In China's Upper Division, three teams at once are unbeaten, but on Tuesday either VG or iG will receive one in the “defeats” column.

For Vici Gaming, the upcoming match will be the first serious test: before that, the team quite confidently dealt with two outsiders of the league: LBZS and Team MagMa. Invictus Gaming has two wins with a 2:1 score over EHOME and Elephant. Nevertheless, bookmakers select VG as favorites.

Team Secret (2-0) — Team Nigma (2-0)

When: Feb 3, 18:00 CET

Two European superteams, two favorites in their region are sharing an intermediate first place. They will converge in a battle for sole leadership. KuroKy and his team missed the previous week and had enough time to prepare for this match.

Predicting the outcome of this match is extremely difficult: in a clash of such high-class teams, the smallest mistake can separate victory from defeat. The rivals know each other very well and it will be difficult for them to surprise each other. By far the must-watch match of the week!

beastcoast (3-0) — Thunder Predator (2-1)

When: Feb 5, 21:00 CET

Fast forward to South America. In short, this is a match between two top division leaders, and if beastcoast wins, then players and management can slowly start picking up lucrative tickets for the first Major of this season.

Hellbear Smashers (3-0) — Creepwave (2-0)

When: Feb 6, 15:00 CET

Elephant (1-2) — PSG.LGD (2-1)

When: Feb 7, 12:00 CET

Both teams started the league pretty shaky. Even though these rosters still have certain problems in the game, they are the two best teams of China's autumn. This match becomes even more fundamental: the losing team lets the group of leaders break away in a distance that will be extremely problematic to reduce. The stakes are extremely high and we look forward to a close and spectacular match!
