Former Seoul Dynasty main tank, Baek “Fissure” Chan-hyung confirmed rumours about the 2-2-2 role lock coming to Overwatch League. This new rule would require all OWL teams to use team compositions consisting of 2 tanks, 2 support and 2 damage dealers.
Since last year, the game's most popular composition has been GOATS or 3-3. Here teams consist of three tanks and three supports, where the tanks are buffed until they are able to unleash their ultimates to devastating effect.
According to Fissure, the change till take effect from OWL Stage 4 on July 26. He did so on his personal stream hours after Seoul Dynasty announced his retirement from the League.
Considering no official statement has been made by OWL, it is possible that Fissure could suffer some form of repercussion if he ever decides to return to the League. As for now, he will just simply enjoy playing Overwatch at home with no pressure.
