Beyond The Summit made a surprise announcement on March 2 when they revealed that LOOT.BET Dota Summit 12 would be taking place next week. In the middle of the week, no less.
The tournament organizers have now further revealed three teams that will be taking part in the event. Evil Geniuses, Fnatic and OG Seed are confirmed for the Dota 2 showdown, with three more teams left to invite. They haven't revealed any specifics regarding where or how the event will be held, but there's still a couple of days left before the tournament begins.

Amid the coronavirus outbreak, Beyond The Summit seems to be undaunted. Their tweet goes on to state, "We assure you there's nothing to fear...," but that could be concerning the spooky theme they've chosen. There are clear references to the Saw movie franchise, and the event logo even tries to remind us that the tournament will end on Friday the 13th, another popular horror movie franchise.
Dota Summit 12 features a $150,000 prize pool and will take place from March 10-13, 2020.
