First Contact: Arma 3 will have a DLC with aliens ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

A true military simulator Arma 3 is going to make a sharp turn. The game will become somewhat more unusual with the following add-on, which is called "Contact". In it, the ordinary terrestrial military will have to face aliens invasion. Get ready for some strange lights in the sky, unidentified flying objects, glowing balls and much more.

No, they are not going to make a circus game from Arma 3, the creators have not forgotten that Arma is, first of all, a serious project. There will be no funny green folks. Developers are going to seriously address the problem of the first contact with extraterrestrial intelligence. A new huge map with an area of 163 square kilometres is expected. According to rumours, actions will take place somewhere in Eastern Europe. The map will be available for play in the usual sandbox. Want to know a little more? Watch the pre-release trailer.

We'll have a full-fledged single-player campaign from Bohemia Interactive.

"As Specialist Aiden Rudwell, you are a NATO drone operator taking part in a military training exercise on Livonia. When a massive alien vessel enters the atmosphere, you are sent on a reconnaissance mission to investigate the extraterrestrial presence. The priority: to learn who or what they are, and find out why they are here. However, with our very existence in the balance, different interpretations fuelled by a region-wide blackout quickly prove to be a surefire way to conflict. Over the course of this campaign, you will engage in field science, electronic warfare, and combat recon, in an experience delivered in authentic Arma 3 style." — studio specialists comment on the DLC.
