Rogue have decided to add Finn Wiestål to their roster in an attempt to dominate the playoffs three weeks before the end of the LEC Summer Split in 2019. Over the past few weeks, the team has had several unexpected victories that have given fans some hope when the season goes down.

Rogue had a huge lineup upgrade on its way to this split, replacing almost the entire LEC line-up with its Academy team. The only player left after Spring Split 2019 was Kim "Profit" Jun-Hyun, but even he was finally replaced.

Finn was has been introduced to the LEC starting line-up today after the Rogue Esports Club dominant performance in the Ultraliga, where they have won with an impressive 13-1 record.  Finn will have time to return to the team if necessary, as the REC will have its first Ultraliga playoff game On Tuesday, August 20th.

Although not many may have had high hopes for Rogue, this new line-up shocked the league, destroying two top-level teams like Fnatic and Origen. The team's performances even sparked a discussion about whether they could overthrow TSM, the leading organization in North America's LCS. Last weekend Rogue scored 0-2 against Team Vitality and Excel Esports, which prevented them from making their way into the playoffs this season. Their opponents won't backtrack this week either, but if they want to make a breakthrough in the postseason, they need to win both of these games.
