Square Enix announced that a playable demo of Final Fantasy XV will be available in March 2015

Final Fantasy XV has been in development since 2006. Over the course of eight years, the hype surrounding the game is still the same and fans are applauding even the minute details shared by Square Enix. At Toyko Game Show 2014, Square Enix announced that a playable demo of Final Fantasy XV will be available in March 2015.

Today via Japanese website Dengeki, some more details about Final Fantasy XV demo and final build gameplay length was shared by none other than Hajime Tabata.

The demo will offer play-time of approximately 1 hour, if players decide to make use of the car to get around the world, according to Tabata. He further added that full game will offer around 40 hours play-time.

"I think in general the play time is about an hour. However, that's if you use the car to get around," Tabata told Dengeki

"By the way, you can also play it for additional challenges, so you can spend more time with it. For example, in order to obtain a strong weapon, you can venture into the dungeon that has monsters stronger than the ones above ground."

About full length of Final Fantasy XV, Tabata said:

"I'm assuming that the actual game will take about 40 hours to clear, so comparing it in simple terms, the demo is about 1/40th of the actual game's content."

40 hours of over-all gameplay length sounds too small? Tell us in the comment section below what you guys think?
