Final Fantasy 15: The Frogs of Legend - Rainbow Frog locations ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

As you probably know, Final Fantasy XV is one of the most amazing games that you can play when it comes down to open-world games. It is an action role-playing game where the players can take control over the main protagonist in the game called Noctis Lucis Caelum while he is traveling through the world of Eos. In addition to that, he is accompanied by his three companions called Gladiolus, Ignis, and Prompto, who all have special abilities.

Having said that, you definitely need those people because there are some quests our there which are very hard to do. One of them is called "Frogs of Legend" and it is basically the last step in the Professor's Protege chain quest, which makes it particularly important to do. The quest is about helping Sania find the rainbow frogs and if you manage to succeed, you will get some amazing rewards.

However, as you probably expected, the frogs are very hard to find, which means that this quest is definitely easier said than done. In addition, Sania will not help you at all with the job. After all, this quest came to life after you did a lot of hard quests until you reach the very end of the Professor's Protege quest. Since you are on the lookout for frogs, always be sure to try and listen from where are they making the noises. This can definitely help you a lot.

Here is the fastest and most efficient way in which you can do this quest.

Where to find 5 Rainbow Frogs in FFXV

First, before you even start hunting the frogs, you need to start the quest itself. In order to do that, you need to go to the outpost which is near the Risorath basin, east from Vasperpool. Once there, you need to look out for Sania but she should be in the same place where you've met her the last time. Talk to her and she will ask you to find five rainbow frogs, which is essentially starting your quest.

However, as I mentioned earlier, she will not come with you to help, which makes this task a lot harder than it seems to. Despite that, she will give you a hit that they live near water (not really useful but hey, still better than nothing).

Finding frogs in real life is no easy task, so the same applies to Final Fantasy XV. Having said that, there are a couple of things which you can do in order to have more luck with them. First, you need to know that they make a lot of noises and when you get closer, they will start to make even more noises. This will definitely help you locate them better but then again, you need to know exactly where to look.

One good idea can be to just go to each body of water in the game and scout its shores. However, if you do not want to deal with that, here are some locations which usually should do the job.

Rainbow Frog 1 Location

The first rainbow frog which you can lay your hands on is located in a lake near Alsktor Slought, which is northwest from Nebulawood. Once you go there, there will be several lakes but you need to go to the biggest one. Near the edge of the lake, you will see a couple of stones and some trees and that's where the frog stays. Once you go there, be sure to listen carefully until you hear the noise.

Rainbow Frog 2 Location

It is worth pointing out that all frogs are fairly close to each other, which means that if you actually manage to find the first one, finding the rest should not be that hard. Having said that, the second frog is not too far off from the first one. In order to get it, you need to go to the east side of the pond next to Saxham Outpost. Again, listen carefully but the frog will be next to some low growth.

 Rainbow Frog 3 Location

The third frog is a little far away from the rest but it is still easy to get. In order to go to it, you need to visit the western bank of the Vasperpool and just look for it in the muddy sand.

Rainbow Frog 4 Location

The second last frog is located in the place where the river splits into two east of Ravatoghan Trail. Once you go there, apply the "hearing" method and you should be good to go.

Rainbow Frog 5 Location

The last frog is again near the river bank where you found the fourth one. Just walk along the bank and look for a large rock just before you reach the huge concrete dike.
